The area offers incredible mountain scenery, good fishing, hiking trails and beautiful campsites. There is a popular multi day canoe route which covers four lakes, though most paddlers do not actually paddle Nanika Lake. Instead, they paddle Lamphrey, Anzac, Stepp and Kidprice. This is about a 30 km (19 mi) return route. The longest portage is 2.2 km between Steep and Kidprice and there are a number of great campsites. The highlight of the trip is the Nanika Falls. If visiting the falls, the best place to land is at the water metering station on the west side of the river mouth. A 500-metre trail leads down to the falls from here. It is possible to continue to Nanika Lake via the Nanika River. This circuit starts on the north shore of Lamprey Lake, where there is a camping area and parking. There are wilderness camping spots along the route, including a small island suitable for camping on Anzac Lake.
