Yousuf brings a diverse background and hands on experience to real estate, with a track record spanning residential, rural, recreational, and investment properties. Before becoming a real estate agent, he built and renovated homes, giving him a practical understanding of construction, development, and the realities of property ownership from both the buyer and seller perspectives.
Known for being direct, diligent, and detail oriented, Yousuf approaches real estate with the same precision he developed during his career in aerospace as a certified Aircraft Maintenance Engineer, where accuracy and accountability are critical. He carries that mindset into every transaction, recognizing the significance real estate decisions have for his clients.
Beyond real estate, Yousuf is also an investor and co-owner of a heavy earthworks company, bringing valuable insight into land development, site conditions, access, septic, excavation, and overall property potential. From raw land to finished homes, he understands property from the ground up.
Yousuf moved to Vernon, British Columbia in 2009 and quickly fell in love with everything the Okanagan had to offer he's proudly called it home ever since. It was in Vernon that he met his wife, and together they've built a wonderful family, most recently welcoming a baby boy. Yousuf is fluent in both English and Arabic, and he brings that same dedication to connection into his professional life through strong communication, a hard-working ethic, and a commitment to building lasting relationships within the communities he serves.
When Yousuf isn't doing real estate, you'll typically find him in his shop working on cars, boats, or heavy equipment. Fixing things is more than a pastime for him; it's how he's wired. When something breaks down, he doesn't call someone; he rolls up his sleeves and sorts it out himself. It's the same hands-on, problem-solving mindset he brings to every transaction, just with less grease involved.
