    I have happily and very productively spent over 30 years marketing British Columbia real estate. Of special interest is helping my clients wade through the red tape of property transactions, property evaluations, subdivision proposals, re-zoning applications and I have always enjoyed talking to people about their Real Estate ideas, needs and wants.

    Experience

    Prior to becoming a licensed as a real estate agent in 1977, I spent many years surveying in Coastal and Northern BC and in the Canadian arctic. I trained for 3 years to become a BC Land Surveyor, but decided to move into the challenging real estate industry instead. I have never looked back.

    After gathering experience and knowledge over 18 years as a agent, I decided that further education in my field would be beneficial. I studied at UBC and completed the rigorous examinations to qualify for my Managing Brokers Licence in 1995.

    I provide a wealth of experience in dealing with development projects, subdivision proposals, re-zoning applications, public hearings, the Agricultural Land Reserve (ALR) and generally a good working knowledge of the challenging bureaucratic system and how it works. And, of course, I have completed hundreds of successful real estate transactions.

    Associations

    I have served in the past as director of the Powell River Sunshine Coast Real Estate board, acting as the Board's representative on the Municipal Planning Committee. I have also received numerous listing and selling awards with well known national real estate companies including Realty World, Canada Trust, Coldwell Banker, and Royal LePage. I am a member in good standing of VIREB (Vancouver Island Real Estate Board) and have received numerous sales volume achievement awards.

    Strengths

    Experience, knowledge, self assurance and understanding has been very helpful in past client relationships. My early interest in computer technology has been paramount in the marketing of listings and has allowed me to utilize enhanced mapping systems.

    Over the years I have handled commercial, residential, farms and raw land sales along with subdivision developments in both urban and rural areas. Focusing on Vancouver Island, the Gulf Islands and the coastal mainland although I do have considerable experience throughout BC.
