    Introduction

Gary’s dedication brings immediate trust with like-minded clients who value honest and good old-fashioned hard work to get the job done. Gary’s focus is on lakefront, ranches/farms, hunting/recreational properties and lodges.

    Experience

With a career built on entrepreneurial drive, a deep love for British Columbia's wild places, and an unmatched knowledge of the province's rural and remote landscapes, Gary brings a genuinely unique perspective to real estate.

He began his real estate career in 2005 in the Fraser Valley, where he developed a solid foundation working across residential, farm, and development properties. Over the years, his passion for BC's backcountry and rural lifestyle drew him north, and he now works exclusively with LandQuest® Realty Corporation—one of BC's most respected names in rural and recreational property. Today he specializes in acreages, farms, waterfront, remote and off-grid properties, and hunting properties throughout BC's Northern region—a landscape he knows well and loves deeply.

Before real estate, Gary Marshall spent decades as an entrepreneur, self-employed since the age of 23. He has successfully started and built multiple businesses from the ground up, including a chain of salons, a distribution business, a duck farm, and more. That journey taught him everything about hard work, creative problem solving, decisive action, and perseverance. Those same qualities define how he serves his clients today. Driven, honest, and solutions-focused, he still believes in the power of good old-fashioned hard work—and he brings that work ethic to every transaction.

"Honesty and integrity are at the heart of everything I do."

What truly sets him apart is not just his real estate expertise, it's who he is outside of it. A lifelong British Columbian, he is deeply passionate about the outdoors. He has been fly fishing since the age of 16, tying his own flies and building his own rods. He is an avid hunter and hiker who has explored some of BC's most remote and breathtaking corners. That passion for exploration ultimately led him to earn his float plane pilot's licence and he now owns his own aircraft.

This is far more than a personal achievement. As a licensed float plane operator, Gary is able to access remote properties that would otherwise require days of travel by ground—reducing that time to mere hours. For buyers and sellers of remote, off-grid, and wilderness properties, this is an invaluable advantage that simply few other agents can offer.

Gary and his wife have embraced the off-grid lifestyle firsthand. They have built a fully self-contained off-grid home alongside a small lake in a remote area of BC. This is also where he keeps his plane, providing direct and rapid access to the Northern BC regions he serves. He doesn't just sell this lifestyle—he lives it every single day.

When you work with Gary Marshall, you're working with someone who understands rural and remote BC not from a brochure, but from lived experience—from the air, on the water, and deep in the backcountry. If you're looking for a property that most realtors can't even get to, you've found the right person.

Let's find your piece of BC wilderness together.
