An exception and rare offering in the Windermere Valley. This family heirloom property consists of a west facing 160 acres, a 2 bedroom home, a small guest cabin, a 20’ x 30’ barn (both the barn and cabin built in 1905), a 20’ x 42’ shop, 30’ x 120’ equipment shed, a horse corral and training ring. Approximately 30 acres are in hay production with an irrigation water licence from Windermere Creek. A good portion of this property is in mature timber, home to a large resident elk herd and a variety of other forms of wildlife. The A-2 (Rural Residential) Zoning bylaw allows for a wide range of permitted uses, with approximately half of the property within the ALR. Located in a very private setting with spectacular mountain and valley views, 5 minutes off Highway 97, 10 minutes to Windermere Lake and only 15 minutes from Invermere.
