    The North Shuswap is made of a string of lakeside communities—Lee Creek, Scotch Creek, Celista, Magna Bay, St Ives, and Seymour with a year-round population of approx. 3,500 and many more vacation home visitors.

    The North Shuswap truly is an unparalleled paradise. Mild winters, warm/hot summers, long autumns and short winters make for a perfect BC lifestyle. Rainy periods last hours, not days or weeks and then the sun is out again.

    • Marvel at the annual Sockeye Salmon Run at Tsútswecw Provincial Park.
    • Dig your toes into a soft, sandy beach at Silver Beach Provincial Park in scenic Seymour Arm.
    • Visit one of the many farmers and artisan markets in Scotch Creek and Celista and tease your palate with a bottle of Inspired Madness from the Celista Estate Winery (next door).
    • Hike the 3 km loop trail to Albas Falls and enjoy the spectacular beauty of the Celista Creek waterfalls.
    • Try backcountry snowmobiling at Grizzly Lodge, the best kept winter experience in the Shuswap or head out on the many FSR roads and find your own adventure. Crowfoot offers terrain for intermediate to expert riders and great views of Shuswap Lake. Elevations range from 1,200-2,250 metres.
