Follow this road for 1.1 km and then turn right. Proceed 4.4 km and then turn left. Proceed 6 km and then turn right on Hooch Lake-Charlotte Lake Forest Service Road. From Bella Coola, follow Highway 20 East 154 km through Hagensborg, Heckman Pass and Tweedsmuir Park. Continue past Anahim Lake to Nimpo Lake.

Charlotte Lake is a 20 km (12.4 mi) long and 6 km (3.72 mi) wide lake located in BC's Chilcotin region south of Nimpo Lake. The lake is surrounded by sandy and gravel beaches, various homes both seasonal and full time residents. There are also resorts on the lake that operate from May to November.
Charlotte, Anahim and Nimpo Lakes on the Chilcotin Plateau are the gateway to Tweedsmuir Provincial Park. They are surrounded by magnificent mountain ranges with snowcapped peaks, huge glaciers and alpine valleys. The lakes are known for their world class fishing while the rivers are popular for their steelhead.
Charlotte Lake is a little piece of paradise located on the Chilcotin Plateau. The view of the mountains on the south side of the lake is ever changing.
