13 lakefront acres with 2 homes and amazing views. Remote, private, off-grid property on the shores of Charlotte Lake in the Cariboo Chilcotin. This property is perfectly setup for year-round living or family vacations with endless activities both on and off the water.
This listing is a combination of 2 titles totalling 13.1 acres. The parcels are side-by-side, both offering excellent views and lake frontage. The 7 area parcel has both cabins on it and the 6.1 acre lot is bare, making this the perfect property for a joint family venture with plenty of room to build and expand. The access to combined acreage is also gated guaranteeing privacy and security while you are away.
The acreages are mainly cleared and the homes are both situated up on the hills offering unobstructed views. The lake frontage has a nice, level beachfront and a small bay for swimming and docking your boat.
The 2 cabins are both 3 bedroom, 1 bathroom with full kitchens, living rooms and dining rooms. The log cabin closest to the lake has a metal roof, cement foundation and a great sundeck looking over the lake. This cabin is larger than the second cabin and offers an expansive mudroom/utility as well as a large master bedroom.
The second cabin is wood framed with a kitchen, living room, master bedroom and full bathroom on the main floor. The top floor (half loft) is complete with 2 smaller bedrooms. This cabin also has wood and propane heat, an asphalt roof and equally picturesque views from the covered deck.

Charlotte Lake is a 20 km (12.4 mi) long and 6 km (3.72 mi) wide lake located in BC’s Chilcotin region south of Nimpo Lake. It is the second largest freshwater lake in the Chilcotin region of BC and is surrounded by sandy or gravel beaches, coastal mountain ranges and pine forests. There are a wide variety of homes on Charlotte Lake with both seasonal and full time residents.
Nimpo Lake has appropriately been named the “Floatplane Capital of BC” and presently has two air charter companies providing a host of services to the many visitors. It also has many private float plane docks around the lake. Sightseeing charters are very popular because so much of this scenic area is only accessible by air. There are many alpine and high altitude lakes in the area for camping, fishing, hunting and hiking. A day will not go by in the summer when you won’t see a floatplane take off of the lake carrying visitors on a flightseeing tour to the Turner Lake chain for a multi-day canoe trip, or for a day of fishing on one of the pristine fly in lakes.
The Nimpo Lake Community is the closest to Charlotte Lake and can satisfy your needs with a general store, fuel station, a bakery, a restaurant and many full service accommodations.
Charlotte Lake is a little piece of paradise located on the Chilcotin Plateau offering year-round outdoor adventure opportunities. The view of the mountains on the south side of the lake is ever changing. Step outside your door and you are ready to fish the pristine waters for rainbow trout or venture down to Little Charlotte for some fly fishing.
Kayaks and canoes and boats find a rightful place on Charlotte Lake. Fishing is a great way to spend the calm mornings before the wind blows up. Even though the average rainbow trout may reach 4 to 5 pounds, much larger ones are often caught. Trolling lures and flies report the best success. The best fishing is in the narrow bay at the northwest corner of the lake where the Atnarko River drains out; an ideal spot for anglers is in another nearby bay with an in-flowing stream.
Charlotte Lake is the perfect family destination with excellent swimming, water sports, paddle boarding and even kite surfing in the afternoons.
The winter months can be filled with ice fishing, snowmobiling, cross-country skiing or just enjoying the serenity of the incredible wilderness.
There are also many species of wildlife that can been seen in the area including deer, moose, caribou, bears, wolves, cougars, lynx and several species of birds.
