    Access

    Follow Highway 99 North from North Vancouver. Follow the Sea-to-Sky Highway past Squamish and Whistler. Follow Highway 99 (Lillooet Lake Road) to the In-SHUCK-ch Forest Service Road. Stay right and follow along the lake for approximately 25 min to the property. You will find it on the right at 10536.


    From Lillooet, you follow the Highway 99. The Duffy Lake Road, until you reach the In-SHUCK-ch. Turn left onto this road and follow it alongside the lake to the property.

    This is a beautiful lake north of Pemberton with several campgrounds and recreation sites along the 25 kilometre length of its northeast shore. The water is cool offering relief on the hot summer days.


    The lake and campgrounds are accessible via the In-SHUCK-ch Forest Service Road, a well-maintained gravel road that is easily passable in any vehicle.


    Lillooet Lake is the primary attraction in the immediate vicinity, but visitors can continue down the In-SHUCK-ch road to Skookumchuk Hot Springs at kilometre 58 or Sloquet Hot Springs 33 kilometres further, both of which also have campgrounds attached. Hikers might also look into heading up to Lizzie Lake or Tundra Lake, or take a short drive up the Duffey Lake Road to the hiking trails at Joffre Lakes.

    Skookumchuck Hot Springs start in a pool which is far too hot to use so there are a network of tubes emanating from this pool to feed a ramshackle array of tubs. There are five tubs, which include one very large one under an A-frame which could hold 10 people and is beautifully comfortable. A smaller one under a half A-frame privacy screen which could hold 8 under the stars. And three more open tubs. Clothing, you will quickly discover, is optional.
