Born in Vancouver, Wendy experienced the full coastal life spending countless days at the seashore beachcombing, boating and swimming and then off to the mountains hiking, camping, skiing, snowshoeing and skating. Many trips were taken to explore the rest of BC and into Alberta and after two trips driving to Newfoundland and back she now has a greater appreciation of all of Canada! Internationally she has travelled many times to enjoy the countries of Europe and portions of the USA and Mexico.
Wendy’s education credits include Certificates in Recreation Therapy (Geriatric) at Langara College and Hospitality Management (Hotel/Restaurant) at B.C.I.T. as well as obtaining her initial Real Estate Licence selling in the South Okanagan in the 1990s. She also has a background in retail sales and public relations and several years experience in the Bed & Breakfast and vacation rentals industry in the Thompson-Nicola Valley.
After her start in Vancouver Wendy became a rolling stone, moving along to enjoy other communities, residing in White Rock, Kelowna, Naramata, Penticton and Kamloops-Merritt including a wonderful year in Alberta employed with The Banff Centre, School of Fine Arts. Today her three grown daughters are the joy of her life along with side kick, Wally, a feisty border terrier!
Wendy now resides in the South Cariboo and looks after her client’s real estate needs out of the LandQuest® 100 Mile House office. She welcomes everyone to come check it out and see for themselves that life ahead here, whether permanent or recreational, is going to be great!
