As the forest industry in the Valley was experiencing drastic changes, he ventured to Anahim Lake where he operated forest harvesting equipment. Yes, he was a logger and enjoyed the work so much he bought two Feller Bunchers himself and began the lifestyle of a Contract Logger. Working in the Cariboo/Chilcotin and Thompson/Nicola Regions over the years as a self-employed logging contractor, he eventually came to settle in Williams Lake. The forest industry in BC (especially the Cariboo/Chilcotin) got eaten up by the mountain pine beetle pandemic, so Ron started to educate himself, first a Diploma in Fitness and Nutrition, and currently his Real Estate Trading Services License.
It’s not over yet ... next in the line-up is to obtain a Pilots’ License. The sky is the limit! Ron’s dedication and strong will to succeed are what he wants to put to work for you when buying or selling Real Estate.
