Description : Situated on a point of land that projects into the calm clear waters of Watch Lake are 26 fully serviced strata titled waterfront RV sites. This offering is the first of its kind in the Cariboo and is modeled after various developments throughout the Okanagan and the Shuswap. This project presents a unique opportunity to own waterfront on a super popular lake, known for its fishing, for under $100,000.

Park your RV in a gorgeous setting at the waters edge, moor your boat at your dock right in front of your lot, and go fishing every single day for rainbow trout up to 14.5 pounds. It may be the most perfect recipe for happiness ever conceived and it is certainly the most affordable waterfront on one of the nicest lakes in BC.

Power boats are speed restricted on Watch Lake so you can indulge your speedboat and waterskiing desires on nearby Green Lake and enjoy the peace and serenity that makes Watch Lake so popular.

The lake is best known for its consistently excellent rainbow trout fishing however anglers are excited that the last few years have resulted in several trophy catches of beautiful rainbows between 10 and 14.5 lbs. Each year the lake is stocked to ensure a balanced population from year to year.

The sites are fully serviced with underground hydro, sewer, water and telephone hook-ups on each lot. Unlike many similar developments in other areas of the Province, the developers of this project have made an effort to leave as much of the property green as possible. There is a grass field suitable for group gatherings and recreational activities and the sites are partially left in their natural state with grass, shrubs and some trees.

Ace High Resort has been a popular destination since it opened in 1964. The sale of these lots does not constitute an increased density or higher usage of the land as there have been RV’s (often more than 26) and cabins in place for over 40 years. The area closest to the lake and the shoreline has been left in a natural state, RV pads are gravelled with crushed rock with an area to park a personal vehicle. The average site size is approximately 30 ft x 70 ft.

Recognizing that not everybody is able to spend as much time as they would like at a recreational spot such as this, approximately half of the sites will have no rental restrictions. The owners of these sites, when not using them will have the option to rent them out or have them rented out by Ace High Resort located on Strata Lot 1. The other lots are restricted in that the minimal rental period allowed is one month. This ensures that those owners who spend most of their time at Ace High are not subjected to a constant change of neighbours.

The Cariboo’s first offering was gold. It was a land born of dreams…dreams of discovery, yellow dust and instant riches. Golden imagery still pervades the psyche – golden hay fields swaying gently in an afternoon breeze; forest meadows filled in spring with golden flowers, and in autumns lazy light with golden leaves of aspen; sunshine shimmering golden off a still lake’s surface and golden sunsets painted in the western sky. The country side here is spectacular in its beauty!

Watch Lake
Watch Lake is an outstanding family lake with some of the best fishing in BC. The lake is xcellent for both summer and winter recreation. Swimming, boating, fishing, paddling, and horseback riding are all popular. The undulating plateau and highlands around the lake have become a cross-country skiing and snowmobiling paradise. For those looking for power boating and waterskiing, Green Lake is only a kilometre away.
Area Data : The South Cariboo is one of the fastest growing rural areas in the province. It is attracting people who are looking for both recreational properties and full time residences. The service centre is 100 Mile House with a population of 2,000. Including the surrounding communities, it serves close to 15,000. The main industries have always been logging, ranching and tourism.

Of the 100’s of lakes in the South Cariboo, none is more sought after or as well known as 14 km long Green Lake. Named for its clear greenish blue waters, the lake itself is quite shallow ensuring that it warms quickly in the early summer and stays warm into the fall. The surrounding area consists of rolling hills with large tracts of open range land. Cattle and wildlife share these lands with the many visitors and residents who head off to explore the countless miles of trails and forestry roads.

The area has abundant populations of moose and deer, with limited numbers of black bear, coyote, squirrels and marmots. The west end of the lake attracts waterfowl as a nesting and migratory resting area, owls and golden eagles can also be seen.
