The PARADISE Mine is a famous past silver producer located in the Rocky Mountains near Invermere,BC. Historic production of silver, lead and zinc is valued at $37 million USD at March 2010 metal prices. The tonnage of ore remaining at the mine is unknown and no representations are made by the seller as to the amount of ore remaining. Establishment of mineral resources will require exploration work.
Mining rights are held as Crown Granted Mineral Claims. Ownership of these claims conveys the right to camp, prospect and if sufficient ore is found, mine in this spectacular alpine location. The Crown Grants are an old and special type of mineral tenure that is superior to the title that is obtained today by staking.

The mine lies 134 km. From Banff National Park, in BC’s Rocky mountains. Across the Toby Creek Valley from the Paradise is the prestigious Panorama Ski Resort which is accessed by paved road from Invermere, BC. The route from the valley bottom to the Paradise is unpaved, following the old mine access road up Springer Creek. With each switch back on the road the scenery becomes more spectacular. Just before reaching the mine the road passes by a wonderful sub-alpine waterfall surrounded by a stately forest. Closer to the lots the towering rock palisade on the south side of the Springs Creek valley come into view.

Invermere
Established in 1810 as a trading post, this is a thriving tourist centre (pop. 3500) and a great recreational location for summer and winter activities. Nestled in the valley between the Rocky and Purcell Mountain ranges just outside Kootenay National Park, and situated along the sandy shores of Windermere Lake, this community offers a full spectrum of outdoor activities. |

Recreation: |
|
Golf: Eagle Ranch Golf Course is a spectacular 18 hole championship course in Invermere. Nearby golf courses include Spur Valley Greens and Radium Hot Springs Resort in Radium Hot Springs. Greywolf at Panarama Resort, Windermere Valley Golf Course in Windermere and the two courses at Fairmont Hot Springs.
Skiing: Due to its remote location in the Toby Creek Valley of the Purcell Mountains, Panorama Resort is more of a mountain retreat, comfortably able to handle 7000 day-skiers – only 3000 skiers and boarders show up on a busy day. Panorama has all the trappings of a tremendous destination resort: walk to lifts accommodation, high speed quad chair lifts, 4300 vertical feet of skiing, and even several outdoor hot tubs located right at the base of the lifts.
Snowmobilers should head to the logging roads of Forster Creek, northwest of Invermere or west on the Toby Creek Road to Panorama and Jumbo Creek.
Fishing: Windermere Lake has good trout fishing. There is a boat launch at James Chabot Provincial Park.
Camping/Hiking: James Chabot Provincial Park, Whiteswan Lake Provincial Park, Dry Gulch Provincial Park and Kootenay National Park to name a few.

History: |
|
Staked in 1895, the historic Paradise Silver Mine is located in a spectacular mountain basin over looked by imposing peaks and rock ramparts. The name of the principal claim is “Parridice”, which is perhaps spelling error on the part of the staking prospector, but the mine is more commonly known as “Paradise”. Rich in history, the mine was developed by Robert Bruce, namesake of one of the prominent mountains seen from the property. |
